Now
Inspired by the “now page” movement, these are some highlights of recent projects, accomplishments, and whatever else I might be working on.

2026
- Re-launched www.bradazevedo.com — this website! (I actually forgot I had one). The old one was mainly a hidden space for my CV and was written with Gatsby, but I rebuilt it with Astro and an intention to turn it into something more.
- Launched The Beeline — a website highlighting bike routes in San Francisco. As an avid cyclist, I thought this would be a fun way to share my knowledge and play with some newer web tech.
- Officially took partial ownership of a cutting-edge 1981 Cessna T182.
- Passed my Advanced Ground Instructor knowledge exam! Now, onto the Instrument Ground Instructor exam…
- Launched jamesbuttonoboe.com — a website for my partner and brilliant oboist, James Button.
2025
- Diving into all the latest and greatest in CSS. Fluid type scales, powerful new selectors, layout options with container queries, theme support, OKLCH, and more. Whew, I‘m exhausted.
- Flew James and myself to Portland, OR (KTTD) — my longest flight yet! This flight fulfilled the requirement for my “long cross-country” flight for the commercial certificate.
- Passed my Fundamentals of Instruction exam — a prerequisite for any FAA instruction certificates.
- Passed my Commercial Pilot knowledge exam. Now, onto the flight portion…
- Had my first experience eating a whole lobster in Maine — from being alive, then tossed in a pot, then disassembling it with a variety of tools. Messy, but entertaining.
